Kara Manning works at Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company in Huntsville Her responsibilities include business strategies, communication and execution on the tri-national Medium Extended Air Defense System (MEADS) Battle Management Command Control Communications, Computers and Intelligence (BMC4I) Program in Huntsville; integration lead for proposal support for Missile Defense Systems, and business development support for the Battle Management Technical Center. Prior to joining Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company, she also served in the United States Air Force as an Information Systems Officer and at SRA, Intl. in their Enterprise Applications department.

I attended an “Understanding the RFP and Proposal Response Process” training course presented by BID Designs and came away with a new, refreshing view and understanding of the confusing and exasperating world Federal Government RFPs. It was presented by knowledgeable experts who were able to present their material in a clear, concise manner not leaving you yawning and wishing for a break. The presenters were entertaining and VERY approachable, taking the time to understand your questions and responding with answers that not only made sense but that you could take from there and apply. I found the break-out sessions to be structured so everyone in the group had time to ask questions and interact with the presenters.
